Cappellano
aperitivo Italiano
“Cappellano is about convivialità: the joy of coming together. It celebrates the Italian culture of connection, where every aperitivo is an invitation to slow down, share, and savor la dolce vita.”

The History
Born from the rolling hills of the Langhe, Cappellano carries a legacy that began in 1870 with Filippo Cappellano, creator of the original Barolo Chinato.
As generations passed, the family moved south to the sunlit lands of Palazzolo Acreide and Noto, in Sicily, where vineyards and olive groves flourished.
In the 1930s, amid the lively cafés of Siracusa and the elegant Bar Viola, a new ritual took shape: an aperitivo of vibrant color and unmistakable character, enjoyed simply over ice or with a splash of soda.
Today, we bring that tradition back to life. Cappellano Aperitivo Italiano is crafted from natural infusions, offering a perfectly balanced sophistication: aromatic, lightly citrusy, and unmistakably Italian
Sicilian roots
Faithful to its Sicilian roots, Cappellano Aperitivo Italiano draws its vibrant character from the island’s iconic citrus fruits: sun-drenched oranges, lemons, and bergamot from Sicily. Born from the infusion of more than 200 aromatic herbs, it is distinguishable from its gentian, rhubarb, liquorice, and cinchona bark nuances.
Produced by Distilleria Zanin, a renowned, historic Italian distillery, it embodies the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The result is a smooth, aromatic aperitivo with a delicate citrus start and a refined bittersweet finish: a true taste of Sicily in every glass.
